Sorry, NY!

I love the Giants. I really do. But I’ve been crazy about the Eagles for so long. I don’t feel like a traitor for rooting for the Eagles this year or for investing in them in online sportsbooks. You see Donovan McNabb was a college All Star just one hour south of here. It was the position that would give him his career in the NFL. So rooting for the other team doesn’t make me feel bad at all. I know deep down inside Mcnabb is still a local. Maybe this time in the Bowl they might just be able to keep it together and get a ring. They’ve sort of always been the little team that could… an then couldn’t.
I would love to see it be Philly vs. Baltimore this year because these are two fresh comers to the big game. Especially Baltimore, I think they would give a fight worthy of the millions that get spent in the ads.
I still find myself in upset all these later thinking about the late hit in the Philly Carolina game where poor Mcnabb was turned into a human pretzel. But those days in the age of Philadelphia are over, it died with the loss of TO, and thank god it did.
For those of you looking to bet on the upcoming big games should pay very close attention to the game between the Ravens and the Steelers. Pittsburgh may be ahead, but the ravens are all but dead, and they have pulled surprises out of nowhere before. There are three games left and nothing is set in stone. Ok maybe personally deep down I hate the Steelers, but I really couldn’t tell you why. I have just always hated the Steelers.
But no matter who wins they will need to face very motivated Eagles. This is their year and it’s been a long time coming, in fact I couldn’t tell you a team that’s worked harder for it. Go Eagles baby! Sorry Plaxico. You really shot yourself in the foot in this one... quite literally.
